Carolina Faith Riders Question of the week

When Paul was on the road to Damascus, What fears do you think that he faced when Jesus came to him in the vision? Can you relate in any way to Paul? and when you first met Jesus, did you ever think that you would be involved in spreading the gospel? Continue to use your resources to over come your fear of witnessing. Prayer, your Bible, and the Holy Spirit. Commune with the Father daily and ask Him to fill you with His wisdom. Wisdom is not only knowledge, but understanding. We MUST understand what it is that God is asking us to do.

  1. My favorite aspect of Paul's journey was the length of it. It was a long and hard journey which implies that he had plenty of time to do nothing besides sit and think. He had just witnessed the murder of stephen (which he may have helped orchestrate)and he must have been thinking about that young man's death, and the way stephen pleaded with God to forgive his assailants before he died. God waits to almost the end of Saul's journey before He reaches out to him and knocks him off his horse. Sometimes He lets our minds storm and whirl with confusion and poblematic pain before He deals out revelation to us. What an awesome God.
